WE ARE HERE!!!

So after 24 hrs. of traveling we have finally made it to El Porvenir. It seems like it took forever to get here especially with the LONG layover in Atlanta. i don't even know where to begin so i guess i should just start with the flight. moving from D.C to Atlanta was very easy and almost seemed relaxing. But when we got to Atlanta things kind of got a little stressful.
Because we had such a long layover in Atlanta they would not let our luggage be checked through all the way to San Pedro Sula, and because of this we had to go get our bags (200 pounds of luggage) and start walking towards the delta desk to check them back in. when we got there however, we were told that they would not be able to check our bags back in untill 4:30 in the morning soo.... this is what that looked like..

A giant lobby full of homless people asking them if you could buy them wendys at 2 in the morning and wanting to "borrow your phone" and arather nice looking but fairly uncomfortable couch.

after that night of no sleep we got on the plane and headed for San Pedro Sula. after that it was two bus rides one of them lasting 4 hours and then a taxi to get to the beach house that we are staying in now which Allison and I both really like alot.

We woke up this morning at 6:30 and had breakfast and then went with kate on her normal tuesday and started picking kids up for the Kinder which is Pre school for them. it was so awesome to see these kids and watch Kate and Ally communicate with them! Rosa is the main teacher that kate works with and she is an amazing person! she made us an incredible lunch after the kinder that made alot of hungry people happy! it is a beautiful little town and everyone seems to be really friendly and happy that we are here. we talked with Victor also who is the man that will be helping us build the Bunk beds for the houses and it seems like they are going to be cheaper than expected so that means we are able to build more for more families and we cant be more excited!!! i am so thankful to be here and i am also very thankful for the love and support that Ally and I are recieving from everyone back home! we love you and will post soon!!!
