Garage Sale(from dan)

It has been exactly a week since my last blog(according to my mom....) with the trip getting closer we are starting to figure out more about what we have planned when we head down there. Things have been going more smooth and amazing than I could have imagined and i am praising God for every little thing that he has done because honestly, i have still not done any hard work for this trip. all Allison and i have had to do has been tell people about our trip which has led her to find another church which she truly needed while in lynchburg and it has led me to getting much closer with some people that i have already know! it is just incredible how much love God pours on you through others when you are living for him.
This past saturday Mrs. McConnell and Miss Rachel hosted a garage sale for the trip and it was amazing how many people donated clothes and other items for the yard sale. All of the money that we made from the garage sale went towards the trip and it was incredible how many people showed up! I showed up like 40 minutes late :( ((SORRY)) at 6:40 and Mrs. McConnell(ANN FRANN) had posted in the News paper that it will start at 8:00 am and last till 1:00 pm. and when i got there, there were already about 5 to 10 people. while i am on the topic. ANN FRANN did so incredible with this garage sale!!! it was amazing to see how professionally everything was set up and also how she was able to interact that the customers that came. I mean it was so good it seemed like it should have been on one of those new auction shows on the discovery channel! other than being a little tired i could not have asked for a better saturday! we had a great group there and we all got to have alot of fun playing games once the garage sale started to wind down. But i am so thankful to say that we raised over 500 dollars from this yard sale alone!!!  Praise God for everything he has done for Ally and I as we have been preparing for our trip!
P.S Ally was asked to go lead a Cabin of Girls at Rockbridge this past week which is a Young Life camp and we both thought that it would have been an incredible opportunity for her to go, otherwise she would have been at the garage sale as well. Pray for Ally for a safe trip back from Rockbridge and for good health( she has not been feeling the best while she has been there!)
these are pictures from the Garage Sale!!!
